The Informacon of William Porch< no role > of the
Parish of St Pancross Soperlane in the Ward
of Cheap London taken & acknowledged upon
oath the 8th day of July Anno Dni 1691

Saith that he this Informt was upon the Watch with MrGreet
Green the Constable on the 30th day of May Last between
the houses of 2 & 3 in the Morning & that he saw
severall persons assault the Watch 5 of whom being
afterwards taken did own their Names to be Walter
Strickland< no role > Francis Strickland< no role > Benjamine
Hudson< no role > & Robert Horner< no role > & John Pybus< no role > & that
all the 5 persons were present in the Quarrell &
did all Strike & assist each other in the said
affray & Farther Sayes that he this Informt was
Knockt down by one of the Said persons & when
he was down one of the Person whose name he
doe beleive to be John Pybus< no role > didtakepull by
Staff out of his hand & did strike his this
Informt therewith & Saye that Thomas Lashley< no role >
since deceased was a watchman at the Same
tyme & was there present in assistance of the
said Constable & Likewise saye that the said
Lashley did receive hurt on his head in the
said Quarrell of which he did Complaine.
