The Examination of Dorothy Wright< no role > Spinster taken the 12th day
of June 1691 before Mr John Robins< no role > Esq one or then Majne
Justices of the peace for the County of Middx

This Examinant sayth that on Monday the 8th day of this
Inst. June she was deluded by Elizabeth Butler< no role > to decoy little
children into their company in order to Robb them, and that
att the Hamlett of Bethnall green in the pish of Stepny in the
County aforesd the said 8th day of June they decoyd into their
company Rebecca Gravese< no role > a Girl of about 5 years of age and
Robbt her of Two Gold Ear Rings by foreing them out of the
Ears of the said Girl, which said Rings this Examinant
believed were sold att a Goldsmyth in Eastsmyth feild in
she Pesh of St Buttolph with out Allgate in the county aforent
for 4s6d by the above named Eliz. Butlers< no role > the said Eliz:

< no role > giveing her such acct of her disposall of the said Rings
