This Examinant Confesseth & sayeth That [..] in an Iland called Portsmouth
[..] County of Hampshire & came from thence on Tuesday in Easter weeke last
past, & was hired in service to one Mr Holmes in Leather Lane & Confesseth she was
[..] d of a Bastard Child this day [..] onth [..] eahs of the Corps, butt Whether it was
a male or a female Bastard she knoweth not, &&farther confesseth that about
an howre after hir delivery of ye sd Bastard, she this Informant Examinant tooke the said
Bastard & threw itt into the howse of office in hir Mistresses howse, butt sayeth the
said Bastard Child was dead borne, and confesseth that a seaman was the
Father of the said Bastard Child butt this Examinant knoweth nott his name
