Whereas at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace held for<lb></lb>
this County by Adjournmts. the <rs type="date" id="LMSMPS50009_date11">Twentieth day of January last</rs>

upon<lb></lb>
motion made by Mr. Upton of Councell with the Inhabitants of the<lb></lb>
Hill in the Parish of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50009_geo67">St. Sepulchres</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50009_geo67" type="placeName" value="St. Sepulchres"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50009_geo67" type="type" value="parish"></interp>
in this County that a day might<lb></lb>
be Appointed for the hearing of the matter concerning the Erecting of as<lb></lb>
Watch house upon the said Hill near the Whipping post there and<lb></lb>
that in the mean time the Execution of an Order made for Erecting the<lb></lb>
said Watch house might be Staid Itt<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
was Ordered that the said Inhabitants<lb></lb>
of the Hill should be heard touching the Premisses this day att Hickshall<lb></lb>
aforesaid att Tenn of the Clock in the Forenoon and that the said<lb></lb>
Constables Headboros. and other Antient Inhabitants att whose request<lb></lb>
the said Order was Obtained upon notice of the said Order should Attend<lb></lb>
this day att the time and place aforesaid and that in the mean time<lb></lb>
the Execution of the said Order for Erecting a Watch house should be<lb></lb>
Suspended Now upon the motion of Mr. Darnall of Councill with the<lb></lb>
said Constables Headboros. and other Antient Inhabitants of the said<lb></lb>
Parish who now Attended this Court and prayed to have the said last<lb></lb>
Order discharged for that the want of a Watch house had Already<lb></lb>
Occasioned the Death of several Watchmen and the place appointed<lb></lb>
to Erect the same was upon the most Convenient place in the whole<lb></lb>
Parish for that Purpose and the said Inhabitants of the Hill neglecting to<lb></lb>
Attend this Court or shew any Cause against the Erecting of the said<lb></lb>
Watch house Itt is thought fitt and Ordered by this Court that the said<lb></lb>
Recited Order for suspending the Erecting of the said Watch house be<lb></lb>
and the same is hereby discharged and Vacated.</p>
