wardens & Overseers of the poore

Shepperton
in the Said County
Sheweth
That about the begining of November last past one William

wth: his wife & Child was passed from Chertsey
in the
County of Surrey
to Shepperton
aforesd by warrant under
the hands & feath of two of their Maties. Justices of the peace
for the Sd County of Surrey
thereby alleadging that the Sd
William Tench< no role >
had conffessed before them that he was last
loyally settled at Shepperton
aforesaid
May it please yor worps the Said William Tench< no role >
was
never selled at Shepperton
but since the Said pass
hath absconded & left his wife & Child chargeable
to the Sd pish
That yor petrs. are Informed that ye Sd. Williams
Tench< no role >
married his wife
at Haswell
in ye County
of Surrey
where ye Sd. Child was Borne & as is
reported allowed the mother a weekly
pention
yor petr therefore humbly appeals to this
Worll. Bench to be releived in the primises
