End aforesd: taken before me the day
& year aforesaid.

This Examinant Saith that being an
officers was on his duty on the watch that
night that the difference did arise between
him and the sd. Jacob Reynolds< no role > and that
the Said Reynolds did give him Seurrillocy
words in so much that this Examinant
did desire him to gore home which he
refused, he allso Charged him to keep the
peace, but instead thereof the Said Reynolds
catched hold of this Examinants Staff and
Kicked him on the Legg, upon which this
Examinant forced his St Staff out of
the said Reynolds hand and gave him be
blow or two therewith on the head, and
further he saith not Etc.
