made Oath that about three weekes past, Matthew Berkeley< no role >
the Deponant husband being in Lincolns June feilds Homett
one Thomas Lacy< no role > and Daniel Delawney< no role > the Deponants husband
being acquanted with [..] Lacy, Long
He told him ye att Delawneyes Lodging there were two thousand
pounds that Might be Gott, wishing Berkeley to soyme wth
him and Delawney to steale the Same, as the Deponants
husband told her, but the Deponant persuaded her husband
Not to Meddle in it, And that Soon after the Said Lacy and
Delawney came acquanted with [..] William Goodman< no role > wth
Whome they had Several Meetings And consults how they
Show Steale the Paid mony from William Jones< no role > in Midlex
Row in Holborne and after Several meetings & attempts to gett
the Said mony they att last breake open Some Doors, a In [..]
and Some Smaler Lockes and tooke away thence about thirty
pounds in mony form the Sd William Jones< no role > as the Sd
William Goodman< no role > confessed to this deponant, adding that
her husband was a fool for going away, That he might
have had Ten pounds if he had Staid, And profferred to
Gratify the Deponant to pay five pounds his wife for
her which the Deponant owed her.
