Whereas by Order made at the last General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace holden for this County by
adjornment on Thursday the Ninth day of July last
It was referred unto the Comittee therein named
(vizt.) Sr. Isaac Tillard< no role > Knt . Treasurer of the Moneys
raised for the repair of the Publique bridges in this
County Sr. John Gouson< no role > Knt. Joseph Ayloff< no role > Leonard
Streat James Clitherow< no role > John Offley< no role > William Kingsford< no role >
Rupert Browne< no role > John Gumley< no role > John Venner< no role > John
Crookshank John Wilson< no role > and Richard Woodward< no role >
Esquires Justices of the Peace for this County and
such other Justices of the peace for the said County
as should think fit to be present or any three or
more of them to take to their assistance such able
Workmen as they should think fit and to take a
view of two Campshotts near Chertsea Bridge in this
County (vizt.) one Campshott above the said Bridge
formerly Erected to secure the foot thereof and the
other Campshott below the said Bridge, and also to
take a view of Brentford bridge in the said County,
And to see if the said Campshotts and Brentford
Bridge aforesaid or any part of the same were out of
repair and if any and what repairs were wanting and
necessary to be done thereunto, And if it should appear
upon such View that the same or any part thereof
were out of repair Then to make an estimate of what
it would cost to repair the same, And It was alsoe
referred to the said Committee to examine if any and
what Sume or Sumes of Money had been already
laid out and disturbed for the repair of Brentford
Bridge aforesaid, and if any and what Sume or Sumes
of Money were at the time of making the said Order
due and owing and to whom, for the doing of any and
what repairs to the same Bridge, And to certify an
Accompt of the matters aforesaid and of their
