Upon consideration had of the great Services done by Robert
Thornhill Esquire Chairman of this Court and
John Milner< no role >
Esquire
one other of his Majestyes Justices of the Peace
for
this County It is Ordered by this Court that the thanks of
this Court be and they are hereby given to the said Mr.
Thornhill and Mr. Milner for the Realous and repeated
Services by them rendred to the Publique and to the
Commission of the Peace of this County, Upon the
occasion of the Petition of his Majestyes Justices of the
Peace for this County to the Honourable House of
Commons in Order to obtain an Act of Parliament for
the Establishing of a regular Nightly Watch, The
consideration whereof was lately depending in Parliamt;
And It is further Ordered that this Order be entred
among the Publique Orders of this Court.

This Court haveing received Information
that
Joseph Niccoll< no role >
hath brought his
Action against the Inhabitants of the
Hundred of Ossulston
in this County in the
Court of Common Pleas
at Westminster
upon accompt of a Robbery alledged to
have been committed upon him within the
said Hundred, and that he hath Sued forth
Process against the said Inhabitants It
is Ordered by this Court that

Deputy Clerke of the Peace
of the said
County Doe appeare for the said Inhabitants
in the aforesaid Action, and act as Attorney
for them in the defence of the said Suit.
