and Victuallers in the sd. County, and taken Recognizances
of such new Victuallers for keeping of good Orders
in their respective houses, and that their Clerkes
keep them a long time in their hands before they
bring them to the office of the Clerke of the peace of
this County to be entred & Registred, and then
refuse to pay a fee of one shilling P licence to the
Cryer for such new licences In contempt of an
Order of Sessions of the first of March one thousand
seven hundred & seventeen, and insist noe such
fee is due to the Cryer, It was ordered by this
Court that James Tyton< no role > John Story< no role > Samuel
Woodcock Robert Cubbidge< no role > & Samuel Cowper< no role > Gentle
five of the Clerkes belonging to his Maties. Justices of
the peace of this County should attend this Court
on this ninth day of April instant to answer their
contempt of the said order and show cause why
the Cryer of this Court ought not to have a
fee of one shilling paid him on granting of
each new Victualler's licence, And the said
Clerkes now attending accordingly and
submitting therein to the direccon of this Court,
It is Ordered by this Court that the severall
Clerkes to his Maties Justices of the Peace for this
County doe bring to & leave with the Clerke of
the peace of this County or his Deputy to be
entred & Registred all the Recognizances
taken before their respective Masters on
granting of new licences to any Victuallers
within their Divisions for keeping of good Orders
in their severall houses, within fourteen days
after the taking thereof, And that the Cryer
of this Court doe from time to time attend at
the said Clerke of the peace's office for coppys
of such Recognizances & the Condicons thereof,
