relying upon that Justice which he has ever been
taught to and verily doth believe distinguishes the
Magistrates of the County of Middlesex as not to
permit an Individual to suffer for and on Account
of so unprecedented an Advance

Your Petitioner has supplied the said House
with Sixty four hundred weight which at 4d.P. lb.
is £1..13s..4d P. hundred and takes him 130lb.. including
Bone to make up the Hundred and stating it at
Yd.P.. lb. which he assures your Worships that it has
stood him in more his loss has been £135..10..0
your Petitioner in Order to evince your Worships
that it is his Ultimate Wish to give every Satis-
-faction begs leave to tender his Services to Purchase
the Meat and send it in at Prime Cost free from
Expence for his time trouble and Judgment at the
same time takes the Liberty to observe that was the
bone to be included it would be found Advantageous
in making of Soup and Consequently would be
afforded at a much Cheaper Rate, trusting that
your Worships will take your Petitioners Case into
Consideration and grant him that relief which
your Worships Wisdom and Lenity shall seem
meet And your Petitioner will as in Duty bound
every Pray. Etc. Etc.

Resolved That it be referred to the Prison
Committee to Consider the matter of the said Petition
and Report their Opinion thereon to the Court on the
County day of the next Session.

The following Returns of the proceedings in the
Parish of Saint Mary Islington under the late Acts
of Parliament of the 35th.. and 37th.. of His present Majesty
relative to Defective Weights and False Measures were
