same day I do not recollect having any Conversation
with Webb about Evans's illness I never did tell
Evans that he must be ill or sham ill - Examined
by Mr.. Nares I did not know that Butcher was
coming till I saw him at my house, Examined by

he came to my house and asked for Raven; - Examined
by Chairman, - The first time that I saw Raven
after Evans was in the Prison, Raven said that Evans

3. or. 4. days, the first time that I saw him was in the
Kitchen he Complained to me of his being ill said
that he was ill in his Bowells, had then the Flux
and that he had been ill and under the Care of a
Medical Man before he came into the Prison when
he made that Complaint I told him that I should
send him up into the Infirmary and gave Orders
for that purpose I saw him the Day following
in the Infirmary I sent him some Medicines to
take that Day I saw him every Day that he was
in the Infirmary I had no Conversation with him
but concerning his Complaint, he Complained that he
had the Flux upon him and violent Gripeing of the

he has been out of the House of Correction about two
Years, he took care of the Sick in the House where
he remembers Evan Evans< no role > there who Complained
very much of the Flux he used to go to the Necessary
every Ten Minutes and in the Night frequently to
his Chamber Pot Evans told him that he was very
ill and that if he had not been taken out of the
Kitchen he< no role > should have been a Dead Man and
that Mr.. Webb did not pay proper attention to
him or supposed him to be so ill as he was
never observed what came from him in the Pot
