January 1799.

this County that such Person or Persons should
write his or their Name or Names and place or
places of Abode and also the Day of such Visit in
a Book to be provided for that purpose before
such Person or Persons be permitted to visit
the Prisoners or Inspect the Prisons and that
the Governor or some Confidential Servant do
attend such Person or Persons

All which the Committee Submit Etc.

Resolved That the Court Do agree with the
said Committee in the said Report and that the
same be Confirmed

By Adjournment same Day.

A Letter signed William Robertson< no role >
relative to the Return of Ralph Mitchinson< no role > High
Constable for the Parish of Hendon in the Hundred of
Gore of the Duplicates of the Land Tax Assessments
for the Year 1798. being Read and Considered It is
Ordered That the levying the penalty of Five
pounds inflicted upon the said High Constable for
such neglect be for the present respited, Sine Die.

By adjournment same Day.

The following Proposals for furnishing
Butchers Meat for the Prisoners in the House of
Correction being Read Vizt.
