<p n="1507">"And so much of the Report enterd in the Minutes<lb></lb>
"of the 11th. Jany. 1794. as relates to <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55611_geo1136">the Bridge</rs>

called Baber<lb></lb>
"Bridge therein mentioned and the Minutes of that day<lb></lb>
"directing that Report and certain other Papers relative<lb></lb>
"thereto to be laid before the Magistrates containing an<lb></lb>
"Offer from the Trust that if the Magistrates would<lb></lb>
"Acknowledge it to be a County Bridge the Trustees<lb></lb>
"would be ready to enter into a Treaty for making the<lb></lb>
"proposed improvements at their Expence being Read<lb></lb>
"and Mr. Henderson a Trustee of the Stains Turnpike<lb></lb>
"being present and informing the Board that it had<lb></lb>
"been agreed by that Trust to Contribute 1/3d of the<lb></lb>
"Expence provided it should not exceed two hundred<lb></lb>
"pounds in the whole</p>
<p n="1508">"Resolved That this Trust will also Contribute<lb></lb>
"one third of the Expence to be incurred by making the<lb></lb>
"Repairs and propos'd Alteration provided the same<lb></lb>
"shall not exceed in the whole two hundred pounds<lb></lb>
"and Ordered That the Treasurer be desired to Transmit<lb></lb>
"the above Resolution to Mr.. Stirling to be laid before the<lb></lb>
"Magistrates and that it be referd to Mr.. Clitherow to<lb></lb>
"Examine the Plan proposed by Mr.. Rogers the County<lb></lb>
"Surveyor) and settle the business with him so that the<lb></lb>
"Work may be done this Summer -</p>
<p n="1509">"I shall therefore be happy to meet Mr.. Rogers at<lb></lb>
"the spot with the Plan and Estimate and day next<lb></lb>
"Week after Monday the 11th. if he will be so good as to<lb></lb>
"call here I will accompany him when he has fixed<lb></lb>
"the Day desire I may be informed of it and I think<lb></lb>
"it would be right to acquaint Mr.. Henderson of ye.<lb></lb>
"Day and hour of our being there and to desire his<lb></lb>
"attendance if not inconvenient</p>
