<p n="3675">Mr Rogers laid before the Court the following Report<lb></lb>
relative to the state of the present Bridge at Forty Hill Enfield and<lb></lb>
the same being read Vizt.</p>
<p n="3676">"Survey of Maiden Bridge at Forty Hill in the <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo2919">County of Middlesex</rs>

<p n="3677">"The late Floods has wash'd away part of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo2920">the Brickwork</rs>

"which supported the said Bridge, part of the Timbers have given way,<lb></lb>
"so that <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo2921">the Bridge</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo2921" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
is impassable for Carriages.</p>
<p n="3678">"The said Bridge is built upon too weak a Construction to<lb></lb>
"resist the impetuous Torrents of Water that in many Seasons flows &<lb></lb>
"rises under the same. For about Twenty Pounds the said<lb></lb>
"Bridge may be made passable & safe till a New Bridge can be built.<lb></lb>
"NB. a Plan of the said Bridge with a Design for a new one accompany's<lb></lb>
"this Report.</p>

<p n="3681">Ordered that Mr Rogers do cause the said Bridge to be well<lb></lb>
and sufficiently secured and that a Railing be put up to prevent<lb></lb>
Accidents to Persons travelling that way.</p>
