<p n="2932">Your Committee Report</p>
<p n="2933">That in pursuance of the Order made on the County day<lb></lb>
of the last Session referring it back to Your Committee to examine<lb></lb>
the Treasurers Accounts relative to the Sums of Money paid by him<lb></lb>
for the apprehending of Vagrants Etc and also to inquire whether the<lb></lb>
restrictions named in the Statute of the 32d. year of his present<lb></lb>
Majestys Reign had been attended to before Orders for Rewards had<lb></lb>
been made by the Justices and also to consider what other means it<lb></lb>
may be expedient to take in order to lessen the Charges on the County<lb></lb>
Rate for the apprehending of Vagrants consistent with the suppression<lb></lb>
of Vagrancy and whether the Resolution of the Court recommending<lb></lb>
that the full Sum of Ten Shillings should not be paid has been<lb></lb>
attended to and that the said Commitee should consider all other<lb></lb>
matters respecting Vagrants in this County and the several Laws<lb></lb>
relating thereto and report their Opinion thereon to the Court.</p>

with the Commitments and Papers in their<lb></lb>
respective Custodies and the Papers in the Custody of the Clerk of the<lb></lb>
Peace for this County having been also laid before them and your<lb></lb>
Committee having inspected and examined the same do find that<lb></lb>
from the 1st. day of January to the 28th. day of June 1794. there hath<lb></lb>
been paid by Mr Burchell the County Treasurer pursuant to Orders<lb></lb>
made by the Magistrates of this County the Sum of £123..9..0 for the<lb></lb>
apprehension of 414 Vagrants being upon an Average at the Rate of<lb></lb>
nearly Six Shillings for each Vagrant so apprehended and that the<lb></lb>
number of Vagrants committed and for the Apprehension of<lb></lb>
whom Rewards have been Ordered are as follows.</p>
