The Commissioners for Paving at the Parish of St. James
Clerkenwell
in this County having sent a Deputation to inform this Court that they are
desirous of removing the present Watchhouse upon Clerkenwell Green
if the Court
would give them about 8 yards by 10 yards of the Quakers Ground at the
extremity thereof in Corporation Row and the Court having considered the
same
Resolved that it will be improper to comply with the request
of the said Commissioners.
