" Stating that the
Fee of Fourteen shillings and ten pence hath been the usual Fee
"paid to him as Keeper of the Gaol of Newgate for the County of Middlesex
"on the Transportation or Felons and other Offenders Convicted at the
"several Sessions of Gaol delivery of Newgate holden for the said County
"and at the several Sessions of the Peace holden in the said County"
Read and what was alledged by his said Counsel. Resolved
Unanimously, That the said Fee of Fourteen shillings and ten pence
ought to be paid to the said Richard Akerman< no role >
, which is ordered
accordingly. And it is further Ordered that it be referred
to the Committee to whom this matter has already been referred to
adjust and settle how much is due to the said Richard Akerman< no role >
in respect of such Fees and also to examine and audit the Bills of
the said Richard Akerman< no role >
for conveying of Convicts delivered to
Duncan Campbell< no role >
Esquire
and also for the Expences of conveying
Convicts for Transportation delivered on board Vessels at Portsmouth Etc
in order to their being discharged and that they Report their
Opinion thereon to the Court on the County day of the next Session.
