Middlesex

At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden in and for the County of
Middlesex at the Session House for the said
County (by adjournment) on Thursday the Tenth
day of December in the Thirtieth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third
King of Great Britain Etc Before William

Resolved that it is expedient a proper Person should
be appointed to attend in the Sub Hall constantly during the sitting
of the Sessions to give information to the Persons coming on business
to the Court or Grand Jury, to superintend the duty of the attending
constables, and do all other matters and things that shall from
time to time be enjoined by the Court. and that he be called the
Sessions Beadle and have a Gown and Staff by which his Office
may be distinguished. Resolved that John Martin< no role > the present
Messenger of the Sessions be appointed to the said Office during
pleasure at a Salary after the Rate of £30 a year for the time
he is continued in such Employ.

Resolved that John Osborne< no role > be appointed
Messenger of the Sessions in the room of the said John Martin< no role >
and be paid at the Rate of Two Guineas each Session.
