It was Moved that the Parties be informed that His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
are willing to give
the sum of £4100 for the Purchase of the Premises in Cold Bath Fields
according to their Agreement but that they do not think themselves
authorized to enter into the Special Agreement of Indemnification
specified in the Masters Report respecting any Spring supposed to
supply the Cold Bath which motion being carried in the Affirmative
Resolved that this Court be adjourned until Saturday next
and that Mr Stirling do wait on the Several Parties or their Agents
and inform them of the Proceedings of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace respecting this matter.
