Dear Sir
Having with my Brother Sheriff appointed Friday
the 3d. November for the Election of a Corner for the County and deeming it
expedient to have it held at the New Sessions House Clerkenwell
, I take leave to
acquaint you therewith and as the business of the Sessions confines me here it is not
in my power to have the Pleasure of waiting upon you - I hope you have no
objection to the Sheriffs having the Use of the Sessions House, nor to the Day fixed,
upon for the Election.
I should be very happy if it suited your Conveniency
to favour us with your Company Dinner during the Course of the Session either
at three or at five o'Clock each day and am very truly,
Dear Sir
Your most obedient
Old Bailey
Humble Servant
