The Bills of Messrs.
Williamson & Wood
referred & the Commee
of Accounts
Resolved that the said Report be received and confirmed and that
the Clerk of the Peace to forthwith Issue the several Orders upon the Treasurer
of this County for payment of the Several Sums therein mentioned excepting
only the Bills of
Joseph Wood< no role >
amounting to £94..1..9 and the two Bills
of
Jeremiah Williamson< no role >
amounting to £30..5..7 in the said Report
specially mentioned - And it is Ordered That the said last mentd.
Bills of Messrs. Wood and Williamson be referred to the said Committee of
Accounts to Examine and Adjust the same and they are hereby impowered
to call in such Assistance as they may think proper for that purpose.
Mr. Gibbs directed
to attend the Court
And the said Committee having Reported That upon examining
the Bills for Necessaries delivered to the Sick Prisoners in the New Prison
and house of Correction
at Clerkenwell
they find a very great increase
in the Amount of such Bills - Resolved That Mr. Gibbs the
Apothecary to the said Prisons be directed to attend the Court on
the County Day of the next Session to give such Information to the
Court on this Subject as they may judge necessary.
