for the Extra Care Trouble and Expence which has been
brought upon him in consequence of the great increase of Vagrants that
have been removed by him during the Three Years last past Ending April
1784 and that the Receipt of the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591.

Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such

The following Report from the Committee appointed in
May Session last to take into Consideration a Petition from the Governor
of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
respecting his Sallary and other
matters concerning the Receipts and Disbursements of his Office which was
deferred going into at the last Session for want of time being laid laid
before this Court and the same being read as follows vizt.
To His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex
in their General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the
said County in the Month of July 1784 assembled
The Report of the Committee appointed to take
into consideration a Petition from the Governour
of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
respecting
his Sallary and other matters concerning the
Receipts and Disbursements of that Office
The said Committee Report
That having taken into Consideration the Order of
Referrence to them made at the last Session Vizt. "To take into consider-
"-ation a Petition from Mr John Harwood< no role >
Governour
of the House of
"Correction at Clerkenwell
and the Accounts to which the said Petition
"refers to examine and report whether there have been any and what
"extraordinary Expenditures made by Mr Harwood on Account of the
"Government of the said Prison Whether any and what deductions have
"been made by Orders of Court or otherwise in the Profits of the said Office
"since Mr Harwoods appointment to the same and how much the Nett
"Annual Receipts of the said Office fall short of Three hundred Pounds"
