and to adjourn themselves as they shall see fit to
inquire into the Fitness of the Persons who are or shall
be Candidates to succeed to the said Office Place or
Employment who are hereby required to leave their
Petitions with the Deputy Clerk of the Peace for this
County in the mean Time in order to be by him then laid
before the said Committee after which Day no Petition
is to be recieved without further Order of the Court of
the said next Session for that Purpose And the Justices
who shall compose the said Committee are hereby
required to make their Report of the Matters hereby
referred upon the Day of Election.

And it is further ordered that Mr
William Pentlow< no role > Keeper of the New Prison at
Clerkenwell be and he is hereby appointed to take
Care of the said House of Correction and the Prisoners
therein and of the Goods Fixtures and Utensils
belonging to the same House untill such Election
shall be had Etc

And it is also further ordrered that
the Preparations of a Report of the Committee relating
to the Prison keepers drawn up by Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.
Chairman of this Session and intended to be made to this
Court do lye before the said Committee for their Inspection
and Perusal.
