By Adjournment on Thursday the Seventh of
May 1761 .

To Pay H. Adams
£1.16.8.

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this
County do Pay to James Sturges Adams One Pound Sixteen Shillings
and Eight Pence in full of his Account for Subsistance of Vagrants
to this day And that the Receipt of the Said James Sturges Adams< no role >
together with this Order Shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said
Treasurer for such Payment.

To repay Mr. Jefferson
12s.6d. for Commee's
Dinner.

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay to Mr.
James Jefferson< no role > deputy Clk of the peace of this County twelve Shillings and 6d by
him paid and Advanced to Mr. John White< no role > by direction of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for this County for providing a Dinner for the Comittee on their Meetg
at Hicks Hall the tenth day of April last And that the Said Mr. Jefferson's
receipt together with this Order Shall be a sufficient dicharge to the Said
Treasurer for such Payment.

To Pay Mr. Jones
17s:4 for Vagrants}

It is Ordered that Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do Pay
to Mr. William Jones< no role > Governor of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
Seventeen Shillings and four Pence allowed by Order of Session for Sub-
sisting of Vagrants in the said House of Correction as by the Accounts
form October Session last to this present Session (including both) produced Appears
Part whereof is due to the Said Wm. Jones< no role > as Executor of Henry
Wallbank
< no role > deced (who died the 15th. of Febry) and other part in his own right
as Governor since And the receipt of the said Wm. Jones< no role > together Wth.
this Order is to be a sufficient discharge to the Said [..] Treasurer
for such Payment.

The housekepper's
Lodgings to be repaired}

It being represented to this Court that the Upper Chambers of this Session
house for the Lodging of the Cryer & House keeper of this Court and his
Family are greatly out of Repair and the same having been inspected
by Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr and the rest of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace who lately met as a Committee on several Affairs It is therefore
now Ordred that what in needful be done to the said Chambers under
the direction of the said Mr. Mainwaring at the Expence of this County
to be paid out of the Rents of this County's Estate.
