Which Inquisitions the said Robert Wright< no role > desired by his Letter might be allowed
This Court suspecting that the said Coroner since the twenty fourth day of June last past hath
unlawfully received money of the respective Churchwardens or other Parish
Officers of the respective Parishes within the several Divisions in this County is of Opinion
that the said matters ought to be enquired into and that a Committee ought to be appointed
to examine into the same and doth thereupon Order that it be and it is hereby recomend
and referred unto his Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County hereinafter named
(to wit) Luke Robinson< no role > Esqr . The Right Honoble George Earl of Kinnoull Thomas Lane< no role >
King Gould< no role > Stephen Beckingham< no role > Charles Gould< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > John Goodchild< no role > .

and Walter Berry< no role > Esquires and such other Justices of the peace as will please to be present
or any three or more of them as a Committee to meet together at Hicks hall in St. John
Street on Wednesday the sixth day of June next at ten of the Clock in the forenoon to
receive an Account from several of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County to whom
Orders of this Court are issued out to inquire in their respective Divisions what moneys
have been exacted or received by the said Coroner or his agent of any Parish Officer or
Officers upon Account of taking Inquisitions concerning the death of any Person or
Persons lying dead in their respective Parishes to the intent the said Committee may
consider further in Case it shall appear that the said Coroner hath unlawfully received
any Money on Account of taking the said Inquisitions.

This Court in Order to discover if any and what money hath been exacted or received by
Robert Wright< no role > Esqr . one of the Coroners of this County or his Agent of any Parish Officers in
this County since the twenty fourth day of June last on Account of taking any Inquisition
concerning the death of Persons lying dead in the respected Parishes in this County
doth Order that it be and it is hereby recommended unto Richard Ricards< no role > Thomas Jervis< no role >
George Garrett< no role > Thomas Quarrill< no role > Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Henry Norris< no role > John Dekewer< no role >
William Caslon< no role > and Walter Berry< no role > Esqrs . and other his Majestys Justices of the Peace
residing in the Tower Division in this County or any one or more of them to convene
before them the present or late Parish Officers of the several Parishes of St. Mary
White Chappell St. Leonard Shoreditch Christ Church St. John Hackney St. John Wapping
St. Ann St. George and St. Paul Shadwell and to examine if any money was exactted or
received by the said Coroner or his agent of the said respective parish Officers of St. Mary
White Chappel or any of them on Account of taking an Inquisition concerning the
death of Samuel Wardey< no role > or any other Inquisitions and if any Money has been
exacted or received by the said Coroner or his Agent of the said respective Parish Office
of St. Leonard Shoreditch or any of them on account of taking anAccount of taking
Inquisition concerning the death of Mary Hipworth< no role > or any other Inquisitions
And if any money hath been exacted or recived by the said Coroner or his Agent of
the respective Parish Officers of Christ Church or any of them on Account of taking an
Inquisition concerning the death of William Howarth< no role > or any other Inquisitions
and if any Money has been exacted or recived by the aid Coroner or his Agent of
the respective parish Officers of St. John Hackney or any of them concerning the
death of a Woman unknown And also to inquire of the present or late Parish.
Officers of the Parishes of St. John Wapping St. Ann Saint George and St. Paul Shadwell
if any and what money hath been exacted or received of them or any of them by the
said Coroner or his Agent on account of taking any Inquisitions since the said twenty
fourth day of June last And to taken Account in Writing of what money they shall
find so received by the said Coroner or his Agent and to attend and produce such
Account before a Committee of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in this behalf
appointed on Wednesday the sixth day of June next at ten of the Clock in the forenoon
