as will<lb></lb>
make the Slope from the Said Bridge easy, taking up Such<lb></lb>
old pavement as is now there and using the Same as farr<lb></lb>
as it will go, And that they have like wise directed that<lb></lb>
causeway Should be carryed on from the Said Mr.<lb></lb>
Hidwells house quite cross the Road to the Footway runing<lb></lb>
by the opposite houses in lieu of Flight of Slops which<lb></lb>
formerly led from off the Old Bridge for the use of those<lb></lb>
houses, And have directed that the Said Bridge Should be<lb></lb>
paved with Guernsey Pebbles pick & as near as possible of<lb></lb>
the Same Size to be from ten to nine inches pitch, and none<lb></lb>
under, and that the Footway Should be five foot wide and<lb></lb>
laid with purbeck Squares Six inches deep at least, And that<lb></lb>

have agreed with him liable to the approbation of the Sessions<lb></lb>
at the rate of five Shillings and two pence per yard for the<lb></lb>

the Same in repair at his own expence for the first three<lb></lb>
years, and have agreed with him for his keeping the<lb></lb>
Same in repair afterwards for eighteen years at the rate<lb></lb>
of one pound P year for every one hundred yards, And<lb></lb>
that they have Ordered Mr. Marquand to erect Fence Posts<lb></lb>
from ten to twelve inches Square at the Avenues and<lb></lb>
Angles of <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55601_geo2388">the Bridge</rs>
