<p n="1850">to provide and furnish Such carriages and Men, according to the<lb></lb>
Warrant aforesaid, who are by the Said Act required to provide<lb></lb>
and furnish the Same accordingly, And whereas It is mentioned<lb></lb>
in the Said Act that the<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
respective Sums of money by the<lb></lb>
Said Act<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
appointed to be paid to the Constable by the Officers<lb></lb>
demanding Such Carriages are not in many cases Sufficient to<lb></lb>
answer the charge & expences of providing the Same insomuch<lb></lb>
that the Said Constables are frequently at great charge over &<lb></lb>
above what is received by them of the Said Officers to the great<lb></lb>
burthen of the Township of which he is Constable, or else the<lb></lb>
Persons performing Such Carriages are greivously oppressed,<lb></lb>
for remedy whereof and that the Said<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
overplus<lb></lb>
charge may be borne by each County or Riding at the General<lb></lb>
charge of Such County or Riding, It is by the Said Act further<lb></lb>
Enacted That the Treasurer or Treasurers of each respective<lb></lb>
County or Riding Shall without fee or reward pay unto Such<lb></lb>
Constable or Constables all & every Such reasonable Sum or Sums<lb></lb>
of money So by him or them paid or laid out for Such carriages<lb></lb>
over & above what was or ought to have been paid by the<lb></lb>
Officer requiring Such Carriages out of the publick Stock of Such<lb></lb>
County or Riding, according to Such Rates, Orders, Rules, and<lb></lb>
directions as the Said <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55601_occ2556">Justices of the peace</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55601_occ2556" type="occupation" value="Justices of the peace"></interp>
in their Quarter<lb></lb>
Sessions assembled with in their respective Jurisdictions Shall<lb></lb>
from time to time during the continuance of the Said Act<lb></lb>
make, direct, and appoint (which Orders Shall be made<lb></lb>
without fee or reward) Regard being always had to the Season<lb></lb>
of the year, and the length & condition of the ways by and<lb></lb>
through which Such carriages are to travel, This Court<lb></lb>
(upon consideration of Such part of the aforesaid Act of<lb></lb>
Parliament as is above recited) being of opinion that the<lb></lb>
Constables in this County of Middx will be lifely very often to be<lb></lb>
at great charges over & above what will be by them received<lb></lb>
of the Said Officers demanding Such carriages as aforesaid,<lb></lb>
and that it is requisite and necessary that Sufficient Rates &<lb></lb>
allowances Should be Settled & ascertained in Order to Satisfy<lb></lb>
and pay unto the Said Constables Such over plus charges on<lb></lb>
account of Such carriages Doth for that purpose Order that it<lb></lb>
be And It is hereby recommended and referred unto the<lb></lb>
