the peace for this county, manifestly (as they conceived)
calculated and lending To obstruct the due performance
of the service as aforesaid enjoined by his majesty< no role > , both
in the particular instance to be menconed as also in
others from the Evil Example there by set, They have
Judged themselves indispensably obliged by their
Duty to the King and their fellow subjects to lay this
case particularly and by itself before the court for
their consideration, and to the End that a proper
application may be made thereupon.

The Committee proceed to asquaint the court That on
saturday the 15th day of November last Information
and complaint upon Oath was made to the Comittee
by Mr. James Sharpless< no role > High Constable of Holborn
Division Mr. John Wilson< no role > and Mr. Robert Nannya< no role >
peace officer that a warrant of search having been
issued by several of his Majestys Justices by the peace
acting in the Division aforesaid the same was Executed
by the said Mr. Sharpless on the 21st. of October last,
and a house thereby searched which stood then
Indicted for a Disorderly house, and Two women of
ill fame and Character were taken at the said house
thereupon where one Mr. Robert Jennison being
present opposed there being taken away by the said
High Constable and bid him take the said women at
his peril, But the said High constable having carried
the said 2 women to the watch house the said Robert
Jennison came thither and there publicly said that
if he had Thought the Hugh Constable would have
brought the said women away he would have run
him thro' the Body or to that effect of which behaviour
of the said Robert Jennison< no role > Complaint being made
the next day by the said High Constables to the
Justices of that Division, a warrant was issued under
the Hands and Seales of John Milner< no role > This name instance is in set 4214. , John Ellis< no role > ,
and John Mercer< no role > Esqr dated the 22d of October 1728
(which Warrant is here unto annexed) marked (1) for
the apprehending of the said Robert Jennison als
Dennison to answer to all such matters and things
