Whereas by Order made at the Generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace holden for this County by adjornment
on Thursday the Fifteenth day of January one thousand
seven hundred and Eighteen It was ordered that no high
Constable
in this County should thereafter continue in
his Office of high Constable above the Space of three
Years And whereas by an Order made at the General
Sessions of the Peace holden for the said County by
Adjournment on Tuesday the twenty fifth day of
February one thousand seven hundred and twenty
four It was Ordered that the aforesaid Order of
the fifteenth day of January One thousand seven
hundred and eighteen should be a Standing Order
of the Court Nemine contradicente An whereas by
an Order made at the said General Sessions of the
Peace holden for this County by Adjournmt. on the said
twenty fifth day of February one thousand seven
hundred and twenty four It was (inter al.) Ordered
that no Standing Order already made or which
hereafter should be made should be reversed or
discharged or in any wise altered unless the reversal
or alteracon of such Order be proposed and agreed
to on the County day in One Sessions and be con-
firmed on the County day in the then next ensuing
Sessions And whereas the Justices of the Peace
of this
County residing within Kensington Division
in the said
County did request and desire the Court of the last
General Sessions of the peace holden for this County
by adjournment on Thursday the thirteenth day of May
now last That Mr.
John Jones< no role >
the present high
Constable of the said Division (who had Served the
Office of high Constable for three Years) might be
continued in the said Office untill the next Easter
Quarter Sessions to be holden for this County not
withstanding the said Order of the Fifteenth day of
January 1718 The aforesaid Court of the last General
Sessions of the Place In regard to the request of the said
Justices residing within Kensington
