And the said Committee of Justices do by their said
Report further Certify that they have also Viewed
Brentford Bridge , And find some repairs are wanting
to be done thereunto, which by an estimation will
cost Fifteen pounds, the same to be done according
to the proposall also annexed to the said Report
which proposall is in the words and Figures
following (vizt.)

Proposall for the repair of Brentford bridge

To support the Bay at the West end with an Oak post
and Secure the Brace, now Sinking, after a
Substantiall manner,

To putt up all new Oak boards under the hand
rail at the West end of the same, and made good
what rails is wanting,

To take down a Pannell of Oak boards at the East
end new Joint and make good what Boards and
Rails is wanting,

To take up the Planks of the Foot bridge, new Joint
and make good the Planks with the Spikes to the
Same,

The Rails of the Foot bridge to be repaired in the
severall Places wanting,
For£15.0s.0d

I Do agree to do the Same for the value proposed

And the said Comittee of Justices do by their said Report
further certify that they have examined into what
Sumes of Money have been disbursed for the repaire
of Brentford bridge and are still due and oweing, And
that there appears to be remaining due to John
Gumley
< no role > Esquire late Treasurer for the repaire of
Bridges, the Sume of Seventeen pounds fourteen
Shillings and one penny on the Ballance of his Accompts
