To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the City of London in their General Quarter Session of the
Peace at Guildhall Assembled.

The humble Petition & appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of the parish
of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the City and
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or order under
the hands and Seals of the Worshipful Brass Crosby< no role > and
John Boydell< no role > Esquires Two of the Aldermen of the said City
of London and Two of his Majesties of the Peace Acting in
and for the said City bearing date the Twelfth day of December
last past Samuel Mills< no role > was conveyed from the Parish
of Saint Martin in Ironmonger Lane in the said City of
London to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the
place of his last legal Settlement Whereby Your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved And against the said
Pass Warrant or orders Do Appeal to this Court

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court will
be pleased to appoint a Day in this present
Session for the hearing and determining the
said Appeal and that all personsonconcerned
may be then directed to Attend

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc
