<p n="350">saith that the then Lord Mayor and other his Majestys Justices of the<lb></lb>
peace for the said City in Sessions assembled did soon after<lb></lb>
(by Force and Virtue of the several Acts of Parliament enabling<lb></lb>
them in that Behalf) duly make their Order or Orders of Sessions<lb></lb>
and issue the Proper precept and precepts for raising levying <lb></lb>
and collecting on the Inhabitants at Large of the said City of<lb></lb>
London the said Sum of Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred<lb></lb>
and seventy Four Pounds to be paid to the said Thomas<lb></lb>
Langdale for his said Damages and Costs according to the<lb></lb>
Directions of the said several Acts of parliament, and that<lb></lb>
Rates being made on the Inhabitants the Monies thereby<lb></lb>
assessed and collected were (as this Deponent was<lb></lb>
informed and verily believed) by the Collectors paid into the<lb></lb>
