Who being on Oath say and first the said James Hill< no role >
says that
he is Clerk
to Jerome Knapp< no role >
Esqr
. of Haberdashers Hall
That on
Monday last between One and two o'Clock this Informant
's Desk
in the Compting house of said Mrs. Knapp was broke open,
and about £76 in Cash, a Draft for £22 and a Pocket Book
feloniously stolen therein. And the said Thomas Berry< no role >
says
that he is Coachman
to John Pardoe< no role >

. That on that
Day between One and two o'Clock which this Informant
was
at Haberdashers Hall
in waiting with this Master, a Person
now Present who calls himself Samuel Payton< no role >
came into
the Passage of the Hall That Informant
saw said Payton
go into the Compting house: and saw him come out again
after staying about 10 minutes. And the said James Philips< no role >
says that he was with said Thomas Berry< no role >
at this time
and observed a young Man go into the Passage of the said
Hall towards the Compting house and observed him come
out again after staying some time; and does verily
believe that said Payton is the said young Man whom
he so [..] observed go towards & return from, said
Compting house. And the said Henry Gilbody< no role >
says that
he is Porter
at the said Hall That this Informant
saw a
young Man go out at the Gate of said Hall between One and
two o'Clock on that Day, at which time said Philips asked this
Informant if said Young Man was One of the [..] Company,
to which Informant replied in the Negative-And further says he doth
