Esquire Lord Mayor of the City of London and
the Worshipful the Aldermen, his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace for the said City at their
General Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Benedict
vulgarly Bennett Fink in the said City of London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of John Wilkes< no role > Robert Peckham< no role > Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City of London bearing date the
Sixth day of August last past Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of Robert
Freckingham
< no role > and their four children to wit Mary< no role > aged seven Years
and upwards Robert< no role > aged five Years and upwards Julian aged
four Years and a half and William aged 2 Years were removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Stephen in Coleman
Street in the said City to the said Parish of Saint Benedict regularly
Bennett Fink< no role > as the Place of their last legal Settlement Whereby
your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore most humbly
pray, that the Benefit of the said Appeal
may be saved into them, and that the
hearing and Determination thereof may be
adjourned unto the next General Quarter
Session of the peace to be holden for the
said City,

And Your Petrs. shall ever Pray Etc.
