Acknowledges h im self to be indebted of our Sovereign Lord the King, in the Sum of £40
John Cooper< no role > of Maynard Street Saint Giles in the Fields Butcher Acknowledges, Etc 40
John Bollard< no role > of King Street Same Butcher Acknowledges, Etc. 40.
Upon Condition that They do personally appear at the next GeneralSession of the Peace to be held for the
City of London [..] , then and there the said William Benting< no role > do Profence, the Law with Effect, had the
said John Cooper< no role > and John Pollard< no role > to give Evidence in his Majesty< no role > 's Behalf against William Hilburns< no role > for
feloniously Stealing in the said City of London One Quarter of Veal Weighing 32th. of the
Value of Fourteen Shillings the Property of the said William Bunting< no role > agt. the peace Etc.
And if the Bill be found a true Bill, and returned so by
the Grand Jury, that then They do appear at the next Session of Gaol Delivery of Newgate,
to be held for the said said City of London at Justice-Hall, in the Old-Bailey , then and there to Prosecute and give Evidence upon the Indictment. And
do not depart the Court without-Licence. Then this Recognizance be void, or else to remain in full Force. Taken and acknowledged the
4th Day of February 1783 before me
