and first this Deponent William Jones< no role >
for himself saith That on being informed
on Thursday Evening late that a Bill had
been just preferred an found by the grand
Jury against him, he this Deponent desired
the above named Philip O'Leary< no role >
to inquire
after Robert Thompson< no role >
the Person to whom
he advanced the Money on the Property now
in question who was then not to be found
being at present out of Town and was not
expected to return for the space of eight
or Nine Days And this Deponent further
saith that without the Evidence of this
material Witness he is intirely unprepared
and cannot safely take his Trial this
Sessions in order for his defence herein
And this Deponent Philip O Leary Saith
that on his being Requested by the said
