Cannon street London One Piece of blue Tammy con [..]
about Twenty Eight yards his property and Saith That
piece of Blue Tammy now Produced is the same,
of Tammy as was so stolen out of his Ware house
aforesaid

And this Informant Thomas Gates< no role > Saith That John [..]
on Saturday last being charged before James Townsend< no role >
at Guild hall London with stealing the above mentioned
things acknowledged and Confessed that he had Pawned
the same at the house of one Thomas Townsend< no role > Pawn broker
in Hare Alley Shoreditch in Consequence of which a
Warrant being Granted by the said James Townsend< no role > Esquire to
search the house of the said Thomas Townsend< no role > for the said
Goods, he went there in Company with Joseph Gates< no role > and the said
Samuel Cole< no role > that on going into the house he asked the Journeyman
if Mr. Townsend was in the way he said Yes and then
called him into the Shop this Informant then asked Mr.
Townsend if he had not a piece of blackClothWoollen
Cloth in his hou [..] Mr. Townsend asked him [..]
name, Samuel Cole< no role > made Answer, in the name of
Mr. Townsend said No he had no such thing and [..]
they should not find any such thing there, this Informant
then told the said Mr. Townsend that he should see if he
had any such thing there and accordingly shewed him
a Warrant to search his house, Mr. Townsend then
desired him to come round to a door at the back of his
house and Mr. Townsend< no role > and Joseph Gates< no role > went up
stairs and immediately brought down the Cloth and
while they were up stairs this Informant looked at
Mr. Townsend Book where he saw Stocktons name
mentioned in many places and that he found in the
house the Goods above mentioned to have been stolen

Mr. Thomas Gates< no role > to the house of Mr. Townsend< no role > [..]
Pawn broker in Hare Alley Shoreditch and Mr. Gates
asked Mr. Townsend for a Piece of Black Woollen Cloths
in the name of Stodon which Mr. Townsend denyed he
[..] and on Mr. Gates Producing a Warrant to [..]
