John Townsend< no role > in Fenchurch Street London
Pewterer and William Wakelin< no role > Servant to the
said John Townsend< no role > and Company Taken
this 27th Day of June 1782

Informant Joseph Pollett< no role > saith that about five o Clock
in the Afternoon on Monday last he observed three Ingotts
of Grain Tin concealed under some Straw in his said Master
Warehouse whereupon he acquainted the other Informant
William Wakelin< no role > thereof who told Informant to take no
Notice of what he had Seen but to observe when Richard
Pain the Prisoner then a Porter belonging to the said
Warehouse went away, and if he took the Ingotts before
Mentioned along with him, that in a few Minutes after
the Prisoner went away from the said Warehouse; and
Informant went and Searched for the Ingotts where he
had before seen and last them [..] found they were gave
whereupon he acquainted the [..] that the
Prisoner [..] gone and the thr [..] were also
taken away whereupon Informant William Wakelin< no role >
immediately pursued the Prisoner.

Informant William Wakelin< no role > Saith that on
Monday Evening Cast the other Informant acquainted
him that there was concealed in his said Masters
Warehouse under some Straw three Ingott of Grain Five
that Informant desired the other Informant to observe
when Richard Pain< no role > the Prisoner then a Porter belonging
to the said Warehouse went away and to let Informant
know if the Ingotts were taken away by the Prisoner
that upon the other Informant informing him that the
Prisoner was gone out and that the Ingotts were taken
Informant immediately turned the Prisoner and
took him within a few Yards of the Warehouse, and
brought him back to the Warehouse, and upon Searching
him the three Ingotts now Produced were found upon him
