London Prisoners upon Orders.

19 William Dawson< no role > , convicted in June session of unlawfully having and being possessed of
forged and counterfeit stamps to resemble the stamps of the Lion passant and Leo-
pard's head used by the Goldsmith's Company for the marking and stamping silver
plate, and for wilfully and unlawfully marking and stamping a silver watch box with
such counterfeit stamps. Ordered to be imprisoned and kept to hard labour in
the house of correction for the term of 3 years.

the term of one year.

6 months.

25 Mary Price< no role > , convicted in February session of grand larceny, was branded, and
ordered to be imprisoned, and kept to hard labour in the house of correction for
the space of 1 year.

death; but being respited, remains, Etc.

kept to hard labour in the house of correction for the term of 3 years.

ordered to be imprisoned in Newgate for the space of 12 calendar months.

William Payne< no role > This name instance is in set 2582. , was fined 12d. ordered to be imprisoned one year, and find
sureties, Etc.

40 George Millward< no role > , convicted at Guildhall July 15, 1778, of a misdemeanour, in
falsely accusing William Jervis< no role > with committing the crime of sodomy, and thereby
obtaining monies from him. Ordered to be imprisoned in Newgate for 6 calendar
months, and to stand in and upon the pillory.

41 Joseph Marshall< no role > , convicted at Guildhall July 15, 1778, of assaulting John Vannally,
and wounding him on the right cheek with a knife ; was fined 12d. Ordered to be
imprisoned in Newgate for one year, and find sureties, Etc.

42 Edward Farmer< no role > , convicted last session for unlawfully obtaining goods, value
£4.3s.10d of Samuel Noton< no role > , Benjamin Noton< no role > , and John Ewer< no role > , by colour of a
counterfeit letter. Ordered to be imprisoned in Newgate 6 calendar months.

43 Samuel Pearce< no role > , formerly convicted of felony, is referred to his former sentence.
