The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Bartholomew by the Exchange
in the said City
Sheweth
That by an Order or Pass Warrant bearing date the fourth
day of October now last past under the hands and Seals of the Right
Honourable

in and
for the said City (One Whereof being of the Quorum)

who had deserted her and her two Children

Years and upwards and

parish of Saint Lawrence Jewry
in the said City to the said Parish of
Saint Bartholomew by the Exchange
as the Place of their last legal
Settlement.
That your Petitioners Apprehending themselves
aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant of the said two Justices
humbly Appeal against the same
And therefore pray that you will be Pleased
to order the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Laurence Jewry
aforesaid
and all Persons concerned to Attend this Court same
day this Present Session to hear and abide the
Judgement and Determination of this Court
touching the Premises And that your Petitioners
may have such Releif therein as to your Worships
shall seem meet
