Market Prices of middling British Wheat and<lb></lb>
middling British Pease at the new Corn Market<lb></lb>

have exceeded the Sums following<lb></lb>
to witmiddling British Wheat the Sum of<lb></lb>
forty eight Shillings the Quarter and middling<lb></lb>
British Pease the Sum of thirty two Shillings<lb></lb>
the Quarter, the continuance whereof your<lb></lb>
Petitioners apprehend will prove<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
detrimental to the City in general and to your<lb></lb>
Petitioners in particular</p>
<p n="420">That your Petitioners are ready to<lb></lb>
make the Truth hereof appear, and to prove<lb></lb>
the same in such manner as by the Statues in<lb></lb>
that behalf is required</p>
<p n="421">Your Petitioners therefore most humbly<lb></lb>
pray that this Honble, Court will take their<lb></lb>
Case into consideration, and proceed to examine<lb></lb>
and determine the Common Market Prices of<lb></lb>
middling British Wheat and middling British<lb></lb>
Pease as the same are now and have been<lb></lb>
lately bought and sold in the Markets of this<lb></lb>
City, and to certify the same to his Majesty's<lb></lb>
Chief Officer and Collector of the Customs in<lb></lb>
such manner as by the Statutes in this behalf<lb></lb>
is required and directed</p>
