Gentleman
maketh Oath and
saith that on the seventeenth, nineteenth, twenty
First, twenty fourth, twenty sixth, and thirty first
Days of March last past And also on the second
fourth and seventh Days of April Instant he this
Deponent went to the new Corn Market
in Mark
Lane
within the City of London
in order to require
into the price of middling British White Pease
and that the Common
Market Price of Middling
British White Pease sold in the said Market on
all the above mentioned Days was thirty three
Shillings and upwards the Quarter And this
Deponent further saith that for several Weeks
last past the Common
Market Price of middling
British White Pease sold in the said Market
hath been thirty three Shillings and upwards
the Quarter And further saith that he is
seized of a Freehold Estate of the clearly Yearly
Value of twenty Pounds and upwards over and
above all Charges and Reprizas and that he is
skilful in the price of white Pease and other
Corr and that he is a Housekeeper and lives
in the Courty of Surry And that he is not a
Corr Chardler Mealman Factor or a Merchant
concerned in the Importation of Corn or any way
interested in any Pease to be imperred.
