London and the Worshipful the
Aldermen his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said City at their
General Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and
Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Hockliffe in the County of Bedford

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said City of London (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the twenty first Day of October
last past Sarah Mitchell< no role > singlewoman was removed
from the Parish of Saint Martin Outwich within the
said City of London to the said Parish of Hockliffe in
the county of Bedford (called in the said Pass Warrant
or Order by the Name of Hackley in the Hole in the
County of Bedford) as the place of her last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving
themselves aggrieved by the order
of the said two Justices humbly
appeal against the same and
pray that this Honourable Court
will please to hear and determine
their said Appeal and make
such Order therein as shall be
Just

And your Petitioners shall every pray Etc.
