To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor
and others his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the City of London and Liberties
thereof at their General Sessions of the
Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
parish of Saint George in the County of Middx

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
(to wit) Brass Crosby< no role > Esquire and Thomas Hallifax< no role > Esquire
(one being of the Quorum) for the City of London aforesaid bearing
Dated the Fourth day of this instant December Ann Wilkinson< no role >
Wife of Jonathan Wilkinson< no role > (who had Deserted her and was
not to be found) and her Three Children Thomas< no role > Aged Four
Years Joseph< no role > Aged Two Years and an Half and Charles< no role >
Aged Ten Months was Removed from the parish of Saint
Augustin in the City of London to the said parish of Saint
George in the said County of Middlesex , And the said last
mentioned Two Justices of the Peace for the said City of London
and Liberties thereof in and by the said Order of Removal
Adjudged the last Legal Settlement of the said Ann Wilkinson< no role >
and her Three Children to be in the said parish of Saint George

That your Petitioners are Advised and Believe that
the last Legal Settlement of the said Ann Wilkinson< no role > and
her Three Children is not in the said parish of Saint George
as by the said Order is Supposed and therefore they Conceive
themselves to be Aggrieved by the said Order and Determination
of the said Two Justices and Do Humbly appeal to your
Worships against the same
