the said Defendant maketh oath that one
Mary Brackenbury< no role >
being a Lodger in this Deponents House
in Salisbury Street
in the Strand
, The prosecutors, who are
officers belonging to the Court of Request for the City and
Liberty of Westminster
in or about the Month of time one then same
seven hundred and seventy two Came to this Deponent said
House and took certain Goods and Chattles which belonged
to and were the propert Goods and Goods and Chattles of this
Deponent in Execution by Virtue of an Execution is not out of
[..] Court of Request against the said Mary Brackenbury< no role >
on presence that the said goods belonged to the said Mary
Brackenbury
upon which Occasion the Deponent informed
the prosecution of their Mistake, and told them that the said
Goods were the property of their Deponent and that the said
Mary Brackenbury< no role >
had no Goods there notwithstanding
which the said prosecutors took out of this Deponent said
House the goods mentioned in this Deponent affidavit setforth
in the said Indictment which being of the Value of Ten Pounds
and upwards he this Deponent made the said affidavit and
brought on action of Fever against the prosecutors and held
to special Bail thereon, And whilst the said Action was Depending
in the Court of Kings Bench the prosecutor thought proper to
proser the above Indictment, since which this Deponent hath Rem [..]
and Received from the prosecutors and their Bail his said Debt of
Ten pounds with Costs of suit and this Deponent further saith
that he is advised and believes that the said Mary Brackenbury< no role >
is
a Mark [..] Witness on behalf of this Deponent on the said Indictment
