Parliament that the said Chubb was severly and truly indebted to the said Cox
in the sum of one thousand eight hundred pounds and upwards they the said
assign are brought an Action by Common process in the Court of things Bon't
and in Order to prevent then Trial thereof at said he the said Chubb pled
a supplemental Bill in the high Court of Chancery and has thereupon
obtained an Injunction of that Court to stay all proceedings at Law and
this Deponent verily believes that the matter Contained in the affidavit of
the said John Cox< no role > is true and that these Indictments are arefully
procused with a view to take off the force and deprin the same assign us of
the Evidence of the said John Cox< no role > either at Law or in Equity touching
or Concerning the premises and so prevent the Recovery of what the said
Jonathan Chubb< no role > Justly & truly now stands indebted to the Estate of the
said Insolvent John Cox< no role > .
