on the oath of Charles Wood< no role > and others, for that he on the 5th of Jan.
1773, in his Majesty's chace of Endfield did unlawfully and without
consent of his Majesty, the owner of the said deer, or the most noble
James Duke of Chandois< no role > , the person chiefly intrusted with the custody
thereof, kill and take away on fallow deer; whereby the said George
Allen hath forfeited the sum of 301. and not having goods and chattels
whereon to levy the said penalty, is committed to be imprisoned one
whole year, and within that time to be set in and upon the pillory at
Endfield aforesaid, pursuant ot the statute. Dated Jan. 7, 1773.
