The Information of Charles Bayley< no role > taken before
in this 3rd. day of December 1772

Who being upon oath says that he knows Nathaniel Bayley< no role > , John
Bayley
< no role > John Murray< no role > James Crompton< no role > and Sarah Coleby< no role >
says that on Monday Evening last the said John Murray< no role > Nathaniel Bayley< no role >
Sarah Coleby< no role > and this Informant went to the Nag's head Inn
in the Borough with Intent to steal some Silver Plate which
some of them had seen there, that the said Nathaniel Bayley< no role >
Sarah Coleby< no role > and this Informant went into the Kitchen where
the said Plate was and the said John Murray< no role > staid in the Tap
Room to keep the People of the House in Discourse whilst they
stole the Plate, that upon a Woman coming into the Room the
said Nathaniel Bayley< no role > Sarah Coleby< no role > and this Informant
run away with the said Plate which was all immediately carried
to the said John Murray< no role > 's Room, that it was afterwards weighed
the same Evening in the presence of the said John Murray< no role > Nathaniel
Bayley Sarah Coleby< no role > and this Informant and was carried out
by the said Nathaniel Bayley< no role > to be sold who gave this Informant a
Guinea for his Share and the said John Murray< no role > James Crompton< no role >
and Sarah Coleby< no role > had about twenty five Shillings amongst
the [..] that on Friday Evening last the said James Crompton< no role >
Nathaniel Bayley< no role > and this Informant robbed a Gentleman
in an Alley leading from Basinghall Street to Aldermanbury
of a Cane which has since been found in the said Nathaniel
Bayley's Lodging; that about 5 Weeks ago the said John
Bayley Nathaniel Bayley< no role > and this Informant stole a pass
of Stone Buckles four Spoons and a handkerchief from
