Hannah Anne < no role > the Wife of John Hart< no role > of Three Leg
Court Whitcross street London Labourer maketh
Oath and saith that she hath known Williamson
about three Quarters of a year having lodged in the
same House and that Dept. supped with Williamson
and the deced the Evening of the day they were
married which is upwards of six Months ago.
SheSays she saw the deced & her Husband in Bed
together the same night and presently afterwards Dept.
went away. That about six Weeks ago Dept.
called at Williamson in order to get to [..] Lodgings [..] to write
a Letter for one William Barrow< no role > carried others [..] Depts. knowing Williamson
could write well which Letter hewent to broughtpronounced by write
to Dept. House the next Evening Barrow being with
[..] That thereuponWilliamson
said that as he had wrote the Letter for Dept. friendthey drank a Pot of Beer together and Williamson inquisted
he insisted on Depts. and Barrow's going with
[..] on their going to the Magpye in Bishopsgate street to spend
the Evening [..] Depts. Husband being present [..]
[..] with Depts. Barrow complied with
and they with Williamson & Dept. spend the Evening
there haveing for it called at Williamson
Lodging where they found his Wife
and when
the deced found they were going there, she beged of
Mrs. Hart, for Christ's rate, crying at the same
time, said do not let me be hand cuffed or tied for I will
be very good, to wch Williamson said that she shod
be handcuffed & tied up, and she deced then said that
if she was to be hand cuffed & find, desired Dept. to
interecd for her that she might have some Tea the next
Morning, which he said she shod have if she behaved with
that Depts. Husband & Barrow went down Stairs & Williamson
desired Dept. to go down behaved, saying he wod. follow them her
in ten Minutes, in touch Dept. told him she wod. not go till she
saw in wth manner he hand cuffed his & confined his Wife,
that then Williamson took the Hand cuffs & said the
Bitch had broke the Lock of them that he must is them
with a Cord, that thereupon he did her put her hands
behind her with she did witht. [..] ruistaned that
he then opened the Closed door, put her into it there being
an from stople fried in to the wood work & a rope fostened to it he
put the Rope through the [..] Iron of the Handcuff down her [..]
and then fastened the Rope to a Spike Nail, she rushing upon her Toes
and crying out for God, saho Mr. Williamson you from to light
you will court any hands in true to which he said that if she did not stays making that no is she wod. knock her head
through the Partition, that Williamson then went down stairs and Depts. said she wod. follow him; the deced they asked for snuff
wch Dept. gave her & deced them desired Dept. to ask Williamsons daughter then present to put a little stool under her feet to care her
with the said she durst not do last her Father she beat: that dept. then immediatly put the steel under her, on such she thanked
her said she was much easier: that Dept. then followed Williamson desired him not to be engay with his Daughter for that
Dept. his put the Stool under the deced's feet; Williamson applied that he wod: broke every Bone of his Daughter's forbiting
Depts. put the Stool under her, saying the Bitch, we can in the deced wod. get out of the Clarke that they then went to the
Magpis where they staid abt. an Hour & she never saw the deced afterwds says she has heard & believes [..] Williamson recd £60
with his Wife besides other Valuables, for the saho of wch he carried her as she believes
